Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Alors on Danse AI (“we”, “us”) collects when you use this website and service (the “Service”), why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We wrote it to be read, not skimmed past — if anything is unclear, email us at ethancarterbusy5@gmail.com.

Summary

• We only collect what we need to sign you in, make your video and take payment.
• Your photos and videos are private to your account and are never used to train AI models.
• We do not sell or share your personal data for advertising, and we use no advertising trackers. We measure visits with cookie-free, aggregated analytics.
• You can ask us to delete everything at any time.

What we collect

• Account data. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, profile picture and a Google account identifier. We never see your Google password.
• Photos you upload. The two photos you provide for each video. They show people's faces and may therefore be sensitive. We do not create face templates, faceprints or other biometric identifiers from them, and we do not use them to recognise or identify anyone.
• Generated videos. The videos created from your photos, together with their settings (such as the video shape) and status.
• Purchase data. The pack you bought, amount, currency, date and order status. Payment details (card number, billing address) are collected by Dodo Payments and never reach our servers.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider automatically processes your IP address, browser type and request logs to deliver the website and protect it from abuse.
• Usage analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages, referrers, countries and device types are popular. It does not use cookies, does not track you across websites, and only gives us aggregated statistics — we cannot identify you from it.

How we use it

• To create and run your account, keep your credit balance and show you your videos.
• To generate your video: your photos are sent to our AI video provider for that purpose only.
• To process purchases, refunds and chargebacks, and to keep the records the law requires.
• To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and enforce our Terms of Service.
• To understand, in aggregate, how the website is used so we can improve it.
• To answer your support and privacy requests.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, our legal bases are: performance of our contract with you (account, video generation, purchases), our legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, improving reliability), and compliance with legal obligations (tax and accounting records).

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with the service providers we need to run the Service:

• Supabase — database and private file storage.
• Google — sign-in with your Google account.
• kie.ai — AI video generation. Receives your two photos through temporary private links and returns the generated video. Its copy of the result expires after about 14 days.
• Dodo Payments — our merchant of record. Processes payments, taxes and refunds under its own privacy policy.
• Vercel — website hosting and cookie-free web analytics.

We may also disclose data if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of users or others, or as part of a merger or sale of the Service (in which case this policy will continue to apply). We do not sell your personal data and do not “share” it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Cookies and local storage

We use only strictly necessary cookies: one to keep you signed in, and a short-lived one that protects the Google sign-in from forgery. If you choose photos before signing in, they are kept temporarily in your browser's session storage so they are still there after the Google sign-in, and are removed right after. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies; our analytics are cookie-free.

How long we keep it

• Account data, photos and videos: for as long as your account exists, or until you ask us to delete them.
• Purchase records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after account deletion.
• Hosting logs: for a short period set by our hosting provider, typically a few days to a few weeks.

When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile, photos and videos within 30 days, except for records we must keep by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, download, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email ethancarterbusy5@gmail.com from the address you signed in with. We will respond within 30 days and will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Security

Photos and videos are kept in private storage and are only reachable through short-lived signed links. Data is encrypted in transit, and access is limited to what is needed to run the Service. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you of a breach where the law requires.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has used the Service or appears in an uploaded photo without guardian consent, contact us and we will delete the data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, let signed-in users know on the website before they take effect.
